InstagramNow that we’re being asked, again, to celebrate a politics of bullying others, I wanted to share one of the most powerful reflections on Donald Trump, delivered by Meryl Streep weeks before his term in office began.

She called it. For four years, disrespect invited disrespect, violence incited violence. We allowed the powerful to use their position to bully others, and in the end we all lost. I hope we’re smart enough not to do this again. Surely #OnceWasEnough
